The PHIL Award® (Pulmonary Health and Illnesses of the Lungs) honors one respiratory therapist each year who goes above and beyond in providing compassionate care and education to patients with pulmonary illnesses.

Created by The FACES Foundation, the award was founded by Sharman Lamka in memory of her husband, Philip C. Lamka, to recognize the vital role respiratory therapists play in helping patients “breathe easier.” 💙

Each recipient receives a certificate of recognition and the beautiful Appreciation Sculpture by artist MK Shannon — a symbol of gratitude from patients and families for these true heroes of care.

• Increases to $19.58/hr after 180 days

Timeline:
