Man when I look back and see everything I have over came in past two years of my sobriety I'm baffled. Life is not easy but we have power and choice to decide how bad it is and if we let the bull wrap in life knock us off our feet. Life ain't supposed to be easy but sobriety cam if we fallow the simple steps cut out the bad things and toxic things out of our life. Addicts are not bad people they are sick people trying to get better. Don't judge no one because we at one time thought we would never struggle with addiction also. May God be with those who are suffering out there and may God give those who r on there journey of sobriety strength to keep fighting 💪. We are not alone

Congratulations!!!! Recovery is possible and remember you are not alone

"The last few years of my drinking were by far the darkest and most destructive. I knew deep down I needed to stop drinking but that seemed impossible. Absolutely unfathomable. Slowly but surely, all of the amazing things in my life started to crumble, I lived in a constant state of guilt, shame and remorse. I was miserable and made the people around me miserable. They say rock-bottom is whenever you choose to stop digging so February of 2020, I finally put the shovel (or bottle in this case) down, picked up the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous and checked myself into a rehab facility is Georgia. For me, I physically, mentally, and chemically can't control my alcohol consumption once I take the first drink. I will never be able to drink like a "normal person". I can't tell you the years of pain, inside and out, it took me to be able to say those words and to say them with pride and dignity. My journey in sobriety is my badge of honor, not my shameful story. God pulled me out of the pit so I could go back and pull more people out, and that's what I plan to do. We do recover, and if we stick around, we can help others recover too" Sobriety date 11/07/20
