Hey everyone! I just completed my dental clearance for the list. I'm good to go with that. My next test, a mammogram, is in August. I wanted to share my folder so any one who needs to know what to do the name and number is right there. Also, I had a nice appointment on Tuesday this week. I was able to see some old co workers/friends and my old doctors. One Dr, said that I have like no chance of matching because my PRA is high, so I'm a hard match. Still finding a donor is the best option for me. I put less restrictions on my case, meaning I will take kidneys with Hepatitis C and others who are KDPI higher than 85. Essentially, whenever or whatever I'm going to get i gotta jump on it. That same dr talked about pig kidneys. I read the article it worked for someone for 2 or 3months then that man died. I know who my match would be but they haven't called the coordinator or anything.

Good news! I was contacted by someone who saw the back of my car and emailed me! It was while I was at UTMC. I was able to tell my coordinator to check the message asap! She did the person says they have some emails sent. I'm really hoping this works out! I'm staying strong 💪🏽 i gotta be, now that a glimmer of hope has been seen. So I remain on the list, day in and day out. But the sun will have to come out one day, it can't always be cloudy and rain.

Good Morning! Busy day ahead, this morning I go to UTMC for my transplant evaluation for the list. Its been going on 5 years, no kidney call yet. It's easy to get discouraged that it's never going to come but I just need to get my story out there. I need to try harder to find a match, since my PRA is at 100% I'm a hard match. I really wish I could meet someone who wants to donate a kidney. It seems like never ending story of failure. Failure that now makes me a pessimist that I would get a donor. But I gotta go on, I have no choice but to. So, today I go and do that long interview, testing and bloodwork for like 5 hours. Anyways, wish me luck everything goes well today! I appreciate every call or message. Great news today! I was listed "Active " on the kidney transplant list! I received the letter yesterday. This means that I can get a call any day now that im Active again. This journey has been crazy. I was on hold for at least 5 months, especially since I broke my ankle and had a glucose seizure. But I've completed so much workup im good until next month when I have my yearly skin check with the dermatologist then again in January for my pap smear. Anyways, I saw the neurologist on 9/11 and he cleared me. That was the last thing i needed before coming Active. 🙏🏽 so thank you all for your support, the likes and shares! Im still looking for a living donor but this now opens me back up for deceased donors. It's going on 5 years waiting, if only they would call me or someone call to donate. Anyways I do have more good news, I was able to start applying to jobs and had an interview a few days ago with an after school program. I have my 2nd interview next Tuesday or Thursday I gotta check. But its not too bad its 2 to 7 Monday through Friday 20 an hour. It works with my dialysis schedule and everything. I have another interview today at 3pm at a different place. The cool thing about my interview today is that my job coach was able to buy me clothes for the interview. We spent an hour picking out clothes tax free. Even though we went to a store that wouldn't get us tax free. I wanna call corporate. Don't get me started lol cause I got beef with Walgreens too over a HIPPA violation. Anyways I look forward to updating you guys on the kidney journey soon! I was able to see a neurologist yesterday who cleared me!! I should be active by next week or so. Connie is out of the office today so I'll know more Monday.

Saw this on the back of a truck a couple weeks ago. The message is clear! Organ donation is the best thing to do when you or a loved one passes away. Giving your good kidney to a recipient is also the right choice. If I could help out a person like that I would. I've been an organ donor since 16 when I got my license. If I'm gone please take them. Let me live on in the hearts and minds of those still living.

Anyways, I'm always looking for my donor day in and day out. My search will continue until I'm off of dialysis and back to living a life I've dedicated to social work and changing other people's lives.

Sad news friends, after a seizure and leg injury last Saturday I was taken off the wait list. I need to be cleared by a neurologist and have to be making good process towards getting my ankle fixed. Check out my home page for details. The next opening the neurologist have (between September 11 and after) at 2 different hospitals Anyways I still need a kidney donation, I still need my support team behind me and could always use prayers, good vibes , and love ❤️

UPDATE! CURRENTLY ACTIVE ON THE LIST AS OF TODAY! Spoke to Connie Cashen today and I'm ready to transplant. I have the insurance and everything else cleared. I don't have any workup until the summer months when I'll have another mammogram.

Dialysis went well today. Just a few issues but it works itself out. Anyways thank you for watching and please like and share far and wide any donor will do! And I mean ANYONE we can make it work in both our favor. Hit me up day or night!

Finally locked in with Cleveland Clinic! Bloodwork complete for the month of November. I could get called after a few days of being listed it has happened to people before. Anyway wish me luck getting another kidney! And if anyone wants to become a hero and be my living donor reach out to me! I have all the answers to your questions you may have.
