Huge congratulations to the first cohort in our Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training!

It was such an honor to spend this with this insightful, intuitive, and reflective group of women. We spent time learning, breathing, and moving together. We overcame unexpected challenges. We explored our own triggers. We focused on mindful self-care. We practiced just being human and honoring the human experience.

I wish I had all the right words to describe how this weekend felt, but the one that comes to the surface is gratitude. I feel so grateful to have shared this space with this group. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the dedication they show to serving their communities. And I’m deeply appreciative for their trust in me to guide this journey.

Ever since closing the studio doors at downtown location, we have been searching for our identity and place within the yoga community. Hours, days, and months of reflection brought into focus the vision for DY419’s new journey.

Yoga is a healing practice. Water has healing properties. Yoga helps regulate and calm the nervous system. Water promotes calm and restoration. Bringing the two together creates an unparalleled experience. Offering the healing and regulating benefits of yoga while inviting play and challenge into the practice.

Over the next few months, Downtown Yoga 419 will be taking on the new identity of SUP Yoga 419! We’ll be rebranding and refocusing our intentions. I’m so excited to share these changes as they unfold! Yoga, paddling, water, and more! Follow along on our journey and can’t wait to practice with you!

Ladies!! Did you know PMS is common but not normal?? It’s natural to feel the hormonal shifts that occur in our body all month long…. But if your experiences related to your monthly cycle are impacting your functioning, some things may be out of alignment.

Join Yoga for PMS this Sunday, 1/14/24, at 11am! We’ll explore ways yoga can support your cycle all month long and help alleviate some of those not-so-fun PMS symptoms including cramping, low energy, moodiness, and more. We’ll also look at a holistic approach to your wellness including stress management habits and essential oils.
