There are moments that feel too heavy to carry alone.
Moments where everything feels dark and disconnected.

Having someone willing to meet you there can change everything. Thank you for everything you do, Hannah.

There’s something special about starting the day surrounded by people who understand. This morning at Coffee with Clients, we gathered not just for coffee, but for connection and simple encouragement to begin the day with positivity! Thank you to Cintas Corporation for making this possible!

These moments matter. And with your support, we can continue to offer them to families and individuals navigating addiction and recovery.

Interested in sponsoring a future Coffee with Clients? We’d love to partner with you in making a lasting impact:

Recovery is not a straight line. It is messy, emotional, and deeply human. Our counselors meet people in those moments every single day. They listen without judgment. They show up with patience. They remind people of their worth when they have forgotten it themselves.

To our counselors, thank you for the way you care, the way you fight for others, and the way you make recovery possible.

Some people just need someone to talk to and Kirsti knew that early on...that’s why she became a counselor.

To be there for the people who feel stuck, unheard, or unsure of who they can be again.

Because sometimes, getting back to your best self starts with one honest conversation.

Happy Counselor Awareness Month, thank you for everything you do!

Last night didn’t go as planned.

Rain forced us to cancel a group activity...but instead of calling it a loss, Julian saw an opportunity.

With very little time, he pulled everyone together, ordered pizza, and created space for connection anyway.

That’s what resilience looks like. Not perfection. Not control. Just the willingness to pivot and still show up for each other. It's one of our core values for a reason!

Megan’s path to becoming a therapist didn’t start in a classroom.
It started in real life.

Through personal experience with therapy and watching loved ones struggle with addiction, Megan understands what it means to sit on both sides of the conversation.

Now, that experience is what drives the work every day.
To listen. To support. To give back.

This is what Counseling Awareness Month is about.

There’s something powerful about getting everyone in the same room. Not just to talk about the work, but to reconnect with why we do it...

Today’s outpatient staff meeting was a mix of reflection, preparation, and a little fun. We heard an honest State of the Company update, walked through real-life safety scenarios, and made space to stay ready for whatever comes through our doors.
We shared laughs over Bingo and gave away a night out for a staff member and their work bestie. Because moments of connection matter too.

Katie Frye reminded us why our Foundation exists and who it continues to impact. And one of our favorite parts, hearing direct shout outs from clients to staff. That never gets old. It’s a reminder that the small, everyday moments we show up for are being felt.

We also recognized team members who live out our CORE values:

Christa – Culture
Pete – Optimism
Lisa – Resilience
Sierra – Excellence
This work is not easy. But days like today remind us we’re not doing it alone.

Today we paused to recognize the people who show up every day for others, often in moments when it matters most.

Our counselors carry stories, hold space, and remind people that change is possible, even on the hardest days. This National Counselor Awareness Month, we’re grateful for the compassion, patience, and strength they bring into every room.

Recovery doesn’t happen alone. And because of you, it doesn’t have to.
