Introducing another senior living success story from Otterbein Sunset House!

Meet Carmen R., a resident in our Sunflower neighborhood who joined us just two weeks ago. After an unfortunate injury, Carmen has been recovering in her suite and always has a smile on her face!

She begins each day with positivity, saying, “It’s going to be a great day.” Carmen has truly enjoyed her experience so far, noting that the rooms are spotless, the aides are kind and attentive, and the meals are both delicious and healthy. She describes her stay as an “A+ experience!”

Carmen’s favorite part of therapy has been taking walks with our aides. She appreciates that they regularly encourage her to stay active and says she’s already noticed a big improvement in how well she walks. Staying mobile is very important to her, and she’s grateful to have the support she needs to keep moving forward.

We’re so glad Carmen chose Otterbein for her recovery. Stories like hers are a reminder of why Otterbein SeniorLife continues to lead in expert, compassionate post-acute care. 🥰🦦
