Build skills and empower yourself at Olalla Center's Empowerment on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM!

Empowerment group is a weekly gathering aimed at providing mental health clients aged 6-15 with a supportive environment to explore therapeutic goals, establish peer connections, and foster community through youth-led activities and discussions. This group will start October 2nd and will run through December 11th. Please note that this group will not meet on November 27th.

Create art with Olalla Center's LGBTQ+ & Ally Art Club on Mondays from 4 PM to 6 PM!

LGBTQ+/Ally Art Club is a weekly gathering aimed at providing a safe and supportive space for LGBTQIAS2+ and Ally youth aged 10-17 to explore their identities, express themselves through art, and foster connections with peers and community members. The club will offer a variety of art activities led by youth participants, supplemented by facilitated discussions on topics relevant to mental health, identity, and community building. This group will start September 30th and will run through December 9th. Please note that the group will not meet on November 11th or November 25th.

Olalla and Arcoíris Cultural invite students to our Club de Amigos en STEM, August 19th through 23rd from 10 AM to 1 PM. Come and have fun participating in activities inspired by STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Please note that this club is specifically geared towards Latinx, Indigenous Mesoamerican and Guatemalan students who speak Spanish and Mam.

Join us as at Arcoíris Cultural (144 SW Coast St, Newport, OR 97365) where free snacks and transportation will be available.

You may have noticed that the Arcoíris Cultural building (located in Newport’s Nye Beach) has been put up for sale. We understand that our clients and community may be concerned about what this means for Arcoíris Cultural and the continuation of programming and services. Olalla would like to assure you all that this program will continue to operate at their current location for the foreseeable future. Arcoíris Cultural would also like to remind clients that OHP navigation services remain available at our current location and at the Avery Building (120 NE Avery St, Newport, OR 97365).
