Flu activity rises sharply starting in December, especially in school-age children. 🦠💉
The Pediatric Center recommends the annual flu vaccine for all children 6+ months, as it greatly reduces the risk of severe complications like pneumonia, dehydration, ear infections, and high fever. Vaccinated children who do get the flu typically experience milder symptoms and shorter illness.

Kids with asthma or chronic conditions are at even higher risk, making vaccination especially important.
