Spirit Halloween’s Spirit of Children program graciously presented a check of over $65,000 to ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital!

One hundred percent of funds raised at local Spirit Halloween stores stay right here in our community, directly supporting our Child Life department.

🧸 Child Life specialists help make hospital stays less scary and more manageable for pediatric patients and their families through non-medical treatment, therapeutic activities and healing play.

In addition, Spirit Halloween generously donated stuffed toys through their Spirit of Christmas program—bringing comfort and smiles to our youngest patients!

We'd like to give a huge shout out to the team over at Poppy's Purpose for their generous donation! We are so grateful for your support.

Yesterday we donated 120 care packages to ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital NICU. We are so grateful to everyone who donated or came out to help pack these. We were able to build 120 care packages in 15 minutes 🤯

Also a special thanks to our friend Julie who with her family sewed over 92 beautiful blankets that we get to include in our Mother’s Day packages.

Since Poppy’s Purpose was founded we have been able to donate 972 care packages to families in the NICU. We are so grateful to all of our donors because without you none of this would be possible 🫶

The magic of the holidays should be for everyone. For children with sensory sensitivities, traditional mall Santas can feel overwhelming—so our ProMedica Total Rehab teams created a calm, sensory-friendly Santa experience at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital, ProMedica Charles & Virginia Hickman Hospital, and Toledo Pediatrics.

Our dedicated pediatric therapy teams—Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), & Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), transformed their spaces into festive, welcoming environments where families enjoyed one-on-one time with Santa, crafts, and photo opportunities designed for comfort and confidence.

This year, 107 children and their families experienced the joy of Sensory Santa. We’re grateful to every family who joined us and helped make these moments so meaningful. Here’s to even more magical memories next year! 🎄✨
