Her kind, gentle spirit helps our clients feel truly seen, heard, and safe. She listens with compassion while offering quiet encouragement. 💚

Thanks to our community, tomorrow’s Diaper & Baby Clothing Giveaway is blessing moms with more than essentials. It’s offering real hope.

Many of the women who are considering abortion already have kids they are having a hard time providing for, so we use the diaper giveaway as a way to tell them about additional services that may prove helpful to them. The moms who walk through our doors tomorrow will be greeted with prayer, encouragement, and a reminder that they’re not alone.

We will have volunteers passing out diapers, shopping with clients for baby clothing, cooking hot dogs, praying with clients, giving out church lists, and just pouring into the families that come.

Thank you for showing up for these families with love and support. Your gifts are changing so many lives.

Shoutout to CedarCreek Church!
This amazing team rolled up their sleeves today at the Pregnancy Center, moving heavy furniture down the stairs, taking apart desks, hauling loads to the dumpster, prepping diapers for our giveaway, and even hooking up a DVD player (MVP moment!).

Abortion doesn’t just affect women. Men carry the weight too.

Whether he was involved in the decision, felt powerless to stop it, or found out after the fact, abortion leaves a mark on a man’s heart. He may wrestle with guilt, anger, and regret, leaving a long-lasting wound that affects his faith, relationships, and sense of identity.

That’s why ARM (Abortion Recovery for Men) exists. At The Haven, we recognize that men also need a safe place to process the pain of abortion, to confront their role honestly, and to experience the freedom that comes through Christ.

When men begin to heal, families change. Legacies change. Because restoration doesn’t stop with one person. It ripples outward.

Men matter in the abortion conversation. Their healing matters too.

Church is the safest place to hide, and the hardest place to heal.

Many men and women sitting in our pews carry silent wounds from a past abortion. That hidden pain can show up as depression, anxiety, sleepless nights, strained relationships, even self-harm or addiction. Without a safe place to process it, these struggles only grow deeper.

Here’s the hard truth:
More than 4 in 10 women who’ve had an abortion were attending church at the time. But only 7% spoke to anyone at church before their decision. Countless men and women desire to hear the Church speak into their pain.

💔 When the Church is silent, healing feels out of reach.
🙏 But when the Church speaks with grace and truth, restoration becomes possible.

That’s why The Haven exists. We walk with women and men who carry the weight of abortion, helping them rediscover their worth and experience biblical restoration.

Church leaders, you don't have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to open the door. Start the conversation with your team, share a word of grace and reconciliation from the pulpit, or connect with The Haven (haventoledo.org) to equip your church with the tools to become a bridge to healing.

Healing from abortion isn’t just a woman's concern.
It’s a Gospel invitation.

Abortion doesn’t disqualify someone from God’s love. His most powerful work of healing and restoration starts when we step forward and say yes to surrender. When pastors speak grace and truth to both men and women, the Church becomes what it was always meant to be; a haven for the hurting and a home for the redeemed.

At Bella Vita, we believe the Church plays a vital role in creating a community where every life, including the post-abortive, knows its worth.

🌸 Shout-out to Lewis Avenue Baptist Church! 🌸

Around Mother’s Day, this generous church family blessed the pregnancy center with a beautiful donation of blankets, diapers, and wipes, meeting tangible needs for moms and babies in our care.

Due to an oversight on our end, we didn’t get to publicly thank you then, but please know your kindness did not go unnoticed. Kathy Moore, a member of Lewis Avenue and also one of our newest medical volunteers, was kind enough to bring this donation to us on their behalf.

Thank you, Lewis Avenue Baptist Church, for being the hands and feet of Jesus. We’re so grateful for your partnership in this life-affirming mission. 💚
