EnLīven Wellness Life Coaching

EnLīven Wellness Life Coaching enLīven Wellness Life Coaching | Toledo's personal growth practice. Coaching, courses, workshops. Perhaps none so much as those failures that you must own.

I fully believe that you have to go through trials to be the best versions of yourself. If you (and I) are not pushed, pulled, and stretched, you do not experience the impetus to consider greater purpose in our lives. Sometimes you experience these trials through things beyond your control such as the death of a loved one, a natural disaster, a job loss, but you may bear responsibility for your failures and struggles. All of these difficult experiences, while unwanted, have the potential to be hidden blessings to make you a person of amazing potential and to make you a person with uncanny grit, strength, passion, and perseverance. Every day I wonder what my life might be like if I didn't "screw it up". But if I move through the question and see all that I have gained from what I have lost, I recognize that I had to break and heal and break again to heal again (you know your bones usually get stronger when they are broken and stressed and heal) to gain the insight and knowledge to support other people to grow. I am not special in that way. You have this capacity to take your failures, when you identify your internal and external resources, and to capitalize on them to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. As a former school psychologist turned personal growth coach, I focus my efforts directly on the stress and mindset needs of my clients, especially those committing their life to serving others in mental health, physical health and medicine, education, and public safety. It is so vital that these dedicated professionals have an outlet and the tools to function at the top of their personal and professional capacity. By stepping into your stress and challenges you (re)discover the strengths and gifts you have carried all along. It is so rewarding to watch clients accelerate into the life they have dreamed about when they dedicate themselves to personal growth. I'd be honored to take your referrals to hard working friends, family or colleagues that are ready to achieve their goals and grow their capacity to love a purposeful and fulfilling life. I am available for coaching via video conference as well as in-person in Toledo, OH and surrounding communities. Learn more at http://enLivenWellnessCoaching.com or http://LifeCoachToledo.com

I want to share a beautiful and transformative exercise with you all called **'Future-Self' Visualization.**

Imagine your future self—one year from today—happy, thriving, and at peace. Now, imagine that version of you sitting down to write a letter to the you of today.

What would they say? What wisdom would they share? What challenges would they tell you you've overcome? What are they most proud of you for?

This isn't just wishful thinking; it's a way to tap into your own inner wisdom and get a clear vision that can pull you forward with hope and excitement. It’s an act of deep kindness to yourself.

If you try this, share one word for how your future self feels! 👇

Feeling a bit adrift lately? Here's a powerful tool to find your anchor: **Clarify Your Core Values.**

When everything around you feels like it's changing, your values are the one thing that remains constant. They're your personal North Star! 🌟

Here's a simple way to connect with them:
1. Grab a notebook and for 10 minutes, just write down all the words that feel important to you (like connection, adventure, peace, creativity, security, etc.).
2. Circle the 5 that feel MOST essential to you right now.
3. Pick ONE of those five, and think of one small thing you can do tomorrow to honor it.

This simple act can bring so much clarity and purpose to your day. What's one value that always helps guide you? Share below!

"The great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving."

This quote always hits home for me. It’s so easy to get stuck feeling like we're "not where we're supposed to be," isn't it? Whether it's navigating an empty nest, starting a new chapter after a big life change, or just feeling a little lost.

But this reminds us that our current spot isn't the whole story! The real power is in that next little step, in choosing a direction that feels right, even if it's a tiny bit scary. It's about progress, not perfection. ❤️

Where in your life are you focusing more on your direction than your current position? Let's share and support each other in the comments!

Do you ever feel completely lost and unsure which direction to turn? It’s like being in a boat without a compass. But the good news is, you have a compass inside you: your core values!

Using your 'Values Compass' means letting what's most important to you (like connection, courage, kindness, or growth) guide your choices. Even when everything feels chaotic, you can always take one small step that honors your values.

Here’s a little challenge: Think of your top 3 values. When you feel overwhelmed this week, just pause and ask, 'What can I do right now to honor one of these values?' It can bring so much clarity and peace.

What's one of your core values? I'd love to see them in the comments!

When you're going through a tough time, it can feel impossible to see anything positive. But what if we made a point to look for the hidden gifts? There's a wonderful practice called 'Benefit Finding' that helps with this.

It doesn’t mean pretending the hard stuff isn’t hard! It just means also looking for the unexpected good—a new skill you learned, a friendship that deepened, or a new perspective you gained. A great way to do this is to keep a 'Captain's Log' or a simple journal. Once a week, just write down one unexpected gift your current challenge has brought you.

Have you ever found a silver lining in a tough situation? Share what it was below!

Ever feel like life is throwing a storm your way? An empty nest, a big move, a career change... it can feel overwhelming. I was reading this quote recently and it hit home: "I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship."

It’s such a powerful reminder that these challenging times are actually our teachers. We're not just being tossed around by the waves; we're learning how to be better, stronger captains of our own lives. It’s okay to be a work in progress—the key is to focus on what we're *learning* along the way.

What 'storm' are you learning to navigate right now? Let's share and support each other in the comments. ❤️

Have you ever had a moment where you looked at your life and realized the old maps just don't work anymore? It can feel unsettling and deeply lonely when the path you were on disappears. But what if this moment of being lost is actually the beginning of finding a more authentic way forward? My latest blog post, "Forging Meaning From Fire," was written for anyone standing in that confusing space. It explores the idea of post-traumatic growth—not just bouncing back from hardship, but bouncing forward into a richer, more purposeful version of yourself.
I share two gentle but powerful journaling exercises designed to help you find your footing and turn this challenging time into a catalyst for profound change.
What's one thing a past challenge taught you about your own strength? I'd love to hear your story in the comments.

This might sound a little strange, but what if you could get a letter from your future self? Imagine the person you hope to be in 3-5 years—what would they say to you right now? There’s a powerful psychological tool called 'Future Self' Correspondence that helps you do just that!
It’s a simple way to get clear and inspired about the life you're building.

Here’s how to try it:
Find a quiet moment and write a short letter from your future self to you. Have them describe their day, what they’re proud of, and thank you for the small choices you're starting to make today that helped them get there.
This can be such a moving and motivating experience! It connects you to your own goals in a deeply personal way. If you could ask your future self one question, what would it be? Share with us in the comments! 👇

We all want to live a life that feels authentic and true to us, right? But sometimes, in the middle of a big life transition, it's easy to lose our way and forget what truly matters. I came across a wonderfully simple tool to help with this called a 'Values Audit.' It’s about making sure your daily "votes" are going to the right place!
Here’s how you can do it:
1. Grab a notebook and take 15 minutes to jot down your top 5 core values. What's most important to you? (e.g., family, connection, creativity, security, adventure).
2. For the next two days, just pay attention to your choices.
3. Each evening, look at your list and ask, "How did I 'vote' for these values today?"
This isn't about being perfect! It's about gently checking in with yourself and making sure your energy is flowing toward what makes you truly happy. Have you ever thought about your core values? What's one that you hold dear?

Have you ever felt completely overwhelmed by a big life change, like a new career, retirement, or an empty nest? It's so easy to feel like we need to make a huge, perfect decision to get it right. But what if the secret to a happy future is actually found in the tiny choices we make every single day?
Think of it like this: choosing to go for a 10-minute walk is a little "vote" for your health. Taking a moment to breathe instead of reacting in stress is a "vote" for peace. These small, everyday actions are what truly build the life we want. They are quiet promises we make to ourselves about the person we are becoming. ❤️
You don't need a grand plan to start. You just need to cast one small vote. What's one tiny thing you can do today to "vote" for the future you want? Let's share some ideas in the comments!
