Access to affordable medications is on the line for Ohio families.

Right now, lawmakers are considering the Ohio 340B Pharmacy Access Act (HB 276 & SB 198), a bipartisan bill that protects local healthcare services and helps ensure Ohioans can continue getting the medications they rely on.

Your voice matters! Contact your legislators today and urge them to support HB 276 & SB 198.

We’re proud to partner with The University of Toledo to promote the More Than A Bet campaign.

College athletes are more than stats, scores, and wagers. They are students, teammates, and young people with goals, families, and futures. As sports betting continues to grow, so does the rise in online harassment directed at athletes when outcomes don’t go as planned.

Through More Than A Bet, we’re helping raise awareness about the real impact of gambling-related harassment and reminding our community that behind every game is a human being.

Partnership supports Ohio's "More Than A Bet" Campaign, reinforcing a commitment to promoting a healthier sports culture

March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month.

For many people, gambling starts as entertainment. But for some, it can grow into something that impacts finances, relationships, work, and mental health. Problem gambling often happens behind closed doors, and too many individuals struggle alone.

This month, we’re committed to bringing these conversations into the open. Throughout March, we’ll be sharing resources, connecting with community partners, offering educational opportunities, and highlighting the support available right here in our community.

If you or someone you care about may be struggling, you are not alone. Follow along this month as we raise awareness and work together to strengthen support for those impacted by problem gambling.

As Black History Month 2026 comes to a close, we reflect with gratitude and purpose.

Throughout this month, we’ve highlighted the powerful contributions of Black leaders in the mental health movement, the importance of representation in health care, and the impact of systemic inequities on behavioral health access and outcomes.

At Zepf Center, we know that trauma-informed care makes a difference. When we recognize the impact of historical trauma, racial trauma, and lived experiences, we can respond with compassion instead of judgment and build trust instead of barriers.

Our commitment to equity, representation, and whole-person care extends across our entire continuum; not just in February, but every month of the year.

As we move forward, we invite you to continue learning, reflecting, and taking action. Visit the link below to explore ways you can show up for your community all year long: https://mhanational.org/black-history-month/

Earlier this month, our team had the opportunity to take part in 211 Week events hosted by United Way of Greater Toledo and share how our services help support the safety net for families across our community.

Through United Way 211, individuals and families can quickly connect to food, housing support, utility assistance, mental health care, substance use treatment, and other basic needs that create stability and hope.

Collaboration makes this work possible, and when we work together, more Toledoans can find the right help at the right time. Thank you to 211 for being a trusted connector in our community!

What really happens when mental health and law enforcement intersect?

In this episode, we’re pulling back the curtain on how our community responds to mental health crises with care, collaboration, and compassion.

Guest host and Senior Director of Crisis Innovation Courtney Burrow is joined by Lt. Kelli Russell, Commander of the Toledo Police Community Services Section, to highlight how specially trained officers and crisis professionals work together to support individuals and families during some of the city’s most challenging situations.
