For people with hearing loss, following conversations in noisy environments takes a lot of mental/cognitive effort. It can be tiring. But a recently published study demonstrates that the Speech Clarity 2.0 technology engineered into the Phonak Infinio Ultra Sphere hearing aids allows users to hear speech more clearly in noisy setting with less demand on the listening parts of the brain.

A new study shows that Phonak Infinio Sphere hearing aids with AI-based noise reduction reduce cognitive load and listening effort in noise.

This phone belongs to an Oticon Intent hearing aid user. She's connected her phone to the airport's Auracast broadcast system. Now, important messages related to her flight are streaming directly into her Oticon Intent Auracast enabled hearing aids. So, there's no more straining to hear boarding announcements, flight delay updates, or which connecting gate will be used at the next airport.

Auracast broadcast systems are just beginning to be introduced in public places. And not all hearing aids are Auracast-enabled just yet. Click on the link below for more information.
