We're excited to announce the installation of our first da Vinci 5 surgical robot. The da Vinci 5 robots are the most advanced surgical systems offered in the da Vinci line. The addition of this state-of-the-art technology to our hospital, as well as the addition of da Vinci 5 surgical robots across our health system, makes ProMedica the first in the Midwest and third in the world to adopt this technology system-wide. Installations are currently underway at ProMedica facilities across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, and they are expected to be completed by the end of August. We look forward to bringing you more about this new tool in the coming weeks!
