Shoveling snow may seem harmless, but it’s one of the most common causes of winter back injuries. Cold muscles + heavy snow + poor form = spinal strain.

🦴 Here are some chiropractor approved tips to keep your spine safe👇👇👇
✔ Warm up for 5–10 minutes before you start
✔ Bend at the hips and knees — not your low back
✔ Keep the shovel close to your body
✔ Avoid twisting while lifting (step and turn instead)
✔ Push snow when possible instead of lifting
✔ Take breaks — fatigue leads to injury
If you feel sharp pain, numbness, or lingering soreness after shoveling, your spine may need attention.

Tis the Season of… Creative Injuries 😅
Every year, as the leaves fall and the snow piles up, we see a mysterious surge of visitors.
Not because everyone suddenly misses us…
…but because raking, leaf-blowing, and snow-shoveling are secretly Olympic sports. 🏋️‍♂️🍁❄️

Between twisting your back trying to outrake your neighbor, power-blowing leaves like you're in a wind tunnel, or shoveling snow that somehow weighs as much as a small car... your body goes through a LOT this season.

That’s why it’s extra important to stay on top of your regular chiropractic appointments.

PSA: Your Spine Can Be “Perfect” and You Can STILL Need a Chiropractor!
You ever look fine on the outside but feel like a gremlin on the inside?
Yeah… your spine can relate. 😂
Just because your X-ray looks good doesn’t mean your body isn’t sending out little SOS signals…
👉 “Hey, these muscles are tighter than your weekend jeans.”
👉 “This joint hasn’t moved since the last season of your favorite show.”
👉 “Your posture called… it’s crying.”
Even when your spine looks healthy, your body can still struggle with things like👇
🔹 Joint dysfunction – the joints aren’t moving the way they’re supposed to, even if they look normal.
🔹 Muscle imbalance – tight, overworked muscles + weak ones = pain city.
🔹 Nerve irritation – your nerves can get annoyed without anything being “damaged.”
🔹 Posture overload – phones, laptops, sitting… your spine is doing WAY more than you think.
🔹 Movement patterns – sometimes your body starts using the wrong muscles for the job (thanks, adulthood).
