A children’s cough syrup from the brand Little Remedies is being recalled due to microbial contamination, according to federal health officials. In an alert from the FDA on Wednesday, Medtech Products Inc., the brand’s manufacturer, voluntarily issued the recall due to the presence of Bacillus cereus, which can cause two types of food-borne illnesses and loss of shelf-stability.

So far, no serious adverse events have been reported, the FDA noted, but consumers who have the product should stop using it immediately. https://cbsn.ws/4e6Vo5O

Sometimes, when a mom is drowning,
the question “What can I do?” feels like one more thing she has to figure out.

She’s already carrying so much.
Asking her to come up with an answer
can feel like adding another weight to her already full hands.

Instead, just show up.
Offer her something real.
Say, “I’m here. Go take a shower.”
Or, “I’ve got the kids for an hour. Just go breathe.”

Because when a mom is barely holding it together,
what she needs most isn’t more decisions.
She needs support that shows up without needing direction.
She needs people who step in quietly,
who remind her she doesn’t have to do it all alone.

Sometimes love doesn’t ask what to do.
It just does.
