Tomah Health’s Hospice Touch is offering a FREE 6-week grief support group for those who have lost a loved one. Many past participants in our grief groups have expressed relief when they could connect with others who understood what they were experiencing. This experience gave them support and helped them realize that, although their grief was unique, they were not alone.

The Tomah Health Community Foundation is supporting child development while strengthening families in Monroe County. Members of the foundation donated $3,000 to The Parenting Place of LaCrosse which provides weekly play groups for parents, caregivers and young children at Recreation Station in Tomah.

Established in 2019, Phlebotomists Recognition Week celebrates the vital role of phlebotomists in the health care system. Their skills and expertise are necessary to perform venipunctures and collect laboratory test samples. Thanks to phlebotomists' hard work and dedication, laboratorians can accurately perform patient sample testing that helps clinicians diagnose and treat patients. We thank our phlebotomists at Tomah Health, who play a vital role in maintaining patient health and promoting lab efficiency and effectiveness.

In recognition of National Wear Red Day (Feb 6), Tomah Health staff came together to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease! Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. Together as an organization, we wore red to support our patients and loved ones affected by heart disease and to let our community know that there are steps you can take to better your heart health.
