Traffic Alert: HWY 16/157 to Theatre Road

In anticipation of several local events taking place around 3800 Hwy 16 (Valley View Mall area), including the opening of Raising Caneโ€™s Restaurant, Hy-Vee Back to School event, the Do Portugal Circus shows, and the opening of Mister Car Wash, heavy traffic is expected beginning Monday August 18th. It is anticipated the heavy traffic may continue through August 24th.

In partnership with the Onalaska Police Department and Valley View Mall, Raising Caneโ€™s Customer traffic will be routed from Hwy 16/157 to Access Road to minimize traffic back-up on Hwy 16. Please allow extra time for your travel, do not block intersections and we encourage alternative routes. Drive safely, thank you for your patience.

A huge shoutout to Tony & Denise Guerra, dedicated volunteers at Tomah VA, for delivering 110 sweatpants to CDCE last week! A heartfelt thank you to the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. for their incredible generosity during their annual National Convention in Milwaukee last month. Thanks to chapters from all over the nation, a remarkable 1,100 new sweatpants were donated to Wisconsin VA facilities. Your generosity is truly appreciated and makes a significant difference for our veterans. Thank you for your support! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘–

Veterans who participate are empowered to challenge perceived limitations by participating in adaptive sports that improve their overall health and wellbeing. The Tomah VA strives to support and assist Veterans interested in attending Winter Sports Clinic before, during, and after the event. Applications are being accepted now through November 30th.
