🤧 Sick Season Reminder 🦠
As we head into cold and flu season, I wanted to take a moment to talk about something important: staying home when you're sick — for your health and mine.
As your massage therapist, I’m here to help you feel your best. But did you know that getting a massage while you’re sick can actually make you feel worse?
Here’s why:
👉 Massage stimulates your lymphatic system, which can speed up the spread of infection and intensify symptoms like congestion, fatigue, and body aches.
👉 Your body needs rest and hydration to heal — not extra stimulation.
👉 Being in close contact in a massage room puts me and other clients at risk, especially since symptoms can linger or start subtly.
❤️ I totally get how frustrating it is to miss an appointment — but showing up sick can delay your healing and impact others. If you're feeling under the weather (fever, sore throat, heavy congestion, body chills, etc.), please reach out to reschedule. I’m always happy to find a better time for you when you’re feeling 100% again.
