In Loving Memory of Alexis Ashanti McGill 💗
Today, we honor the life of our beloved Alexis, a Caretaker and cherished member of the Nurse Next Door family.

Alexis brought compassion, warmth, and joy to every client and every coworker. When being highlighted as our Caretaker of the month in summer of 2024, she said, “I love making a difference in my clients’ lives… it doesn’t feel like work.” That’s who she was—someone who gave her whole heart in service to others.

Her tragic passing due to domestic violence has left us heartbroken. In her name, Nurse Next Door Greater Sacramento is partnering with WEAVE to raise awareness, educate, and support those impacted by acts of domestic violence. We are also making a donation in her honor to continue her legacy of care and love. You can in her name as well, www.weaveinc.org

Alexis, your light will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully. You are deeply missed and forever loved. 💖
