AGP Family Health Clinic Corp Richard Andres Pedroza M.D. was born and raised in
New Orleans, LA as the son of Colombian immigrants. He firmly believes in serving the whole community.

His main goal is to educate patients in the area of diabetes, hypertension and other multiple chronic diseases in order to prevent and treat. Richard Pedroza, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and the medical director of AGP Family Health Clinic in Tomball, Texas. Dr. Pedroza welcomes families and patients of all ages to the practice for preventive medicine, urgent care, and chronic disease management. Dr. Pedroza was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, as the son of Colombian immigrants. His father practiced community health care for over 40 years in the Mid-City neighborhood of New Orleans, and it inspired Dr. Pedroza to follow in his father’s footsteps in medicine. He went on to complete his medical degree at the Universidad de Monterrey in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico. Following his studies, he pursued a residency program in family medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Pedroza is certified in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), and advanced trauma life support® (ATLS). While Dr. Pedroza is fluent in Spanish and English and supports the unique health needs of the diverse community, he is also a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, and wholeheartedly encourages military men and women to the practice for empathetic care. Dr. Pedroza prevents and treats men’s health issues that affect your health and well-being. He enjoys attending to each of his patients, and mentoring and motivating younger generations to take an active approach to their health.
