Synergy Release Therapy (SRT) is based on biomechanical principles that recognize the interconnectedness of your muscles, fascia, and joints.
We don’t just chase the spot that hurts because a restriction in your foot can cause a "creak" in your opposite shoulder.
SRT is an audit of your entire system designed to balance the skeletal and muscular structures by releasing tension patterns. Move freely this spring by addressing the root, not just the symptom.

Trigger points are hyper-irritable knots in the muscle that often cause "referred pain" in areas far from the actual source.

If you only rub the spot that aches, you are just pulling the leaves off a w**d while the root stays buried.

Deactivating these points through specialized therapy reduces their excitability and resets the muscle for lasting relief. Don't just manage the symptom—clear the "w**d" at the source.

If stretching “worked,”
you wouldn’t have to keep doing it for the same spot.

Tightness isn’t the problem—
it’s the symptom.

Your body tightens to protect instability, imbalance, or poor coordination.

So instead of asking:
“Where does it hurt?”

Start asking:
“Why is my body guarding here?”

That’s where real change happens.

Fascia is the dense connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, nerve, and organ in your body.
When it becomes restricted, it creates a "straightjacket" effect that limits your ability to move freely and pulls your skeletal system out of alignment.
If you can’t touch your toes today, your "fascial armor" might be locking up. Spring cleaning your fascia allows your muscles to breathe and move again.

April is Stress Awareness Month, but we look at stress through a physical lens.

When you are physically restricted, your body stays in a "sympathetic" state, otherwise known as "fight or flight".
This triggers a "guarding" response where muscles tighten to protect you, making it impossible to enter the "rest and digest" state needed for recovery.
If your chest moves more than your belly when you breathe, your body might be stuck in "Survival Mode".

Your muscles are often told to stay tight by your nervous system through a process called neuromuscular reprogramming. After months of "desktop hunching," your brain begins to recognize that slumped posture as your "safe" baseline. Even when you try to stand tall, your nervous system "hijacks" the movement and pulls you back into the hunch. To change the posture, we have to retrain the communication between the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system.

Your body doesn’t just "get old," but it can lose its way after a sedentary winter. We have a "sixth sense" called proprioception, which is the body’s ability to sense movement and position.

When you’ve been less active, this internal GPS can get foggy, leading the brain to tighten muscles as a protective "guard". Try standing on one leg with your eyes closed; if you wobble, your nervous system might be overcompensating for a winter of "hunching."

Don’t let a rusty hinge become a permanent restriction.

This month we talked about how the body communicates.

Tension.
Tightness.
Pain.

But many of those signals have a deeper root.

Stress changes the nervous system.
And when the nervous system changes, the body adapts.

In April, we’re exploring how stress lives in the body — and what you can do about it.

Stay tuned.

If you came to our Open House — thank you.
If you wanted to but couldn’t — the conversation doesn’t end here.
Pain doesn’t change overnight.
But understanding it changes what’s possible next.
We’re here when you’re ready.
