Meridian Springs Primary Care is one of a kind Direct Primary Care clinic in the Woodlands, and the first medical practice in the area that is uniquely designed for patient's needs and satisfaction. Dr. Bhavana Rao founded the clinic in May of this year with a singular focus on patient-centered care and wellness. Dr. Rao has been practicing medicine in The Woodlands and Houston area since 2008. She trained at the Conroe Family Residency program.

Dr. Bhavana Rao started her practice, Meridian Springs Primary Care, using a new business model based on direct subscription to the doctor. A model that is like NetFlix for healthcare. Without insurance constraints, her concierge medicine patients have immediate access to her using latest technology to connect with her, whether it is video chat, email or text. Patients also get same day appointments to visit the clinic or home visits as is convenient. Dr. Rao’s husband attended Texas A&M University and did his capstone project on their current business model. Together they co-founded their dream project.

At Meridian Springs Primary Care, office visits are typically an hour long in a relaxed atmosphere where the patient will receive Doctor's undivided attention. There are no per visit fees and all procedures at the office are covered by the subscription. The clinic also offers subscription healthcare for International visitors, huge healthcare cost savings for Businesses, comprehensive blood tests for Wellness and Addiction medicine.
