Dr. Michael Fuentes and Dr. Christopher Thompson. Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Fuentes was born and raised in Houston, TX.

Thank you for visiting Spring Cypress Oral Surgery and Implant Center. Dr. Michael Fuentes received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. In 2002, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston. He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Indiana University Medical Center and Methodist Hospital, where he was extensively trained in all aspects of oral and facial surgery. Dr. Fuentes is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. His practice interests include dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth and extractions), facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, and the treatment of oral and facial pathology. Dr. Fuentes prides himself on using state of the art technology to perform minimally invasive procedures. He currently lives in Spring with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, Dr. Fuentes enjoys spending time with his family and friends, coaching baseball, fishing, and watching Aggie Football.

MEET OUR TEAM!
Dr. Michael Fuentes

Dr. Fuentes is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who combines advanced surgical skills with a genuine passion for patient care. He earned his DDS with highest honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston, after earning his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. He completed his surgical residency at Indiana University Medical Center, gaining extensive training in all areas of oral and facial surgery.

Dr. Fuentes specializes in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, bone and soft tissue grafting, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, and treating oral and facial pathology. Combining the latest technology with years of advanced surgical training, Dr. Fuentes is proud to offer expert care in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Originally from Houston, Dr. Fuentes calls Spring, TX home, where he lives with his wife. Their two sons are both proud Aggies, currently attending Texas A&M University! Outside of the office, you’ll often find him fishing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and of course, cheering on Aggie Football!
