At Saha, we get to witness something truly special, friendships that blossom on and off the mat. No matter the age. Meet Della and Ellie, two young souls whose bond has grown alongside their love for theater and fun! Their moms found connection through the studio, and now these two are sharing breath, movement, and laughter in our sacred space, and maybe some long weekend sleepovers!

Do you remember your Summer’s at this age? Carefree, fun, utter joy!? Never wanting the fun to end!

We love seeing them in studio, learning to move with intention, to listen inward, and to feel at home in their body. Yoga isn’t just poses, it’s presence, play, and community.

What a privilege to observe this next generation rising with self-awareness, compassion, and joy. We’re so honored to hold space for friendships like these to flourish.

A Journey Through Time and Transformation to Integrate Every Version of You

Throughout life, we have inhabited many versions of ourselves: the dreaming child, the searching young woman, the woman who fought, broke, and was reborn. Each left behind traces of emotions, wounds, and lessons learned.

In this workshop, we will journey through your timeline to recognize who you were at each stage, what you felt, what mirrors you encountered along the way, and how all of it has shaped the woman you are today.

Through intuitive writing, guided visualization, gentle bodywork, and conscious sound, we will open a sacred space to integrate all those women you once were… to recognize that you are not broken, but woven together with threads of history, wisdom, and transformation.

This space is a ceremony to honor your existence. a return to yourself with tenderness and truth.
Your story is medicine. Your reflection, a sacred altar.

Mala Making + Meditation: A Sacred Gathering at Saha
August 3rd | 1–4 PM | Saha Yoga & Wellness House

Join us for a grounding afternoon of creativity, community, and intention-setting as we come together to craft our own hand-knotted malas—sacred tools used for meditation and spiritual connection.

Led by Emily Williams, this experience is more than a craft, it’s a ritual of presence. You’ll be guided through the history, symbolism, and energy of the mala, choose your own healing stones, and leave with a handmade string of beads infused with your personal intentions.

What is a Mala?

A mala (Sanskrit: “garland”) is a string of 108 beads, traditionally used in meditation and mantra repetition (japa). Originating in India over 3,000 years ago, malas are rooted in Hindu and Buddhist traditions and are now used by practitioners of many spiritual paths. Each bead represents a single breath, a moment of stillness, or a repeated mantra—a powerful way to focus the mind and return to the present.

The 108 beads are not just a number; they carry sacred significance. In yogic tradition, 108 is believed to represent the wholeness of existence—the connection between the self and the universe.

What You’ll Experience
• A short meditation to set intentions
• A brief history and meaning of the mala
• Step-by-step guidance on hand-knotting your own mala
• A selection of high-quality beads and crystals to choose from
• Community, conversation, and creativity
• Tea, light snacks, and time to drop into ritual together

Whether you’re deep in your meditation practice or just curious to learn, this is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and create something meaningful with your own two hands.

Join Karina, Saturday, August 9, we will gather in the primal, mystical energy of Madre Ix —the spirit of Mother Earth and the cunning feline power of the Jaguar.

In this gathering, you will journey into the heart and wisdom of Maya cosmovision, where you will experience the dance of Kankueb — an ancestral movement technology that combines rhythmic sequences of…
• intentional joint articulations
• serpentine spinal movements
• gentle breath work
• visualization practices
… to awaken expanded states of awareness and cultivate a deeper connection with your body’s innate intelligence.

Each Kankueb session is a movement ritual aligned with the daily energies of the Cholq’ij — the ancient Maya timekeeping system. Days of Ix, when we honor both water and earth elements, are times of high magic that call us to connect with our inner sensitivity and our instinctive wisdom.

Through this deeply intuitive, sensory intelligence, we develop our ability to harness our internal forces like the Jaguar… knowing when to wait patiently in stillness, when to strike with precision, and how to move in harmony with both our deepest instincts and the natural world around us.

In this 3-hour workshop, we will explore Kankueb’s somatic movement practices and guided experiential anatomy to connect with the sacred energy of Ix ~ teaching you to activate your body’s core energy centers while connecting our pulse to the Heart of the Earth (Uk’ux Ulew, Corazón de la Tierra).

Our Story

Pilates and Yoga studio in Old Town Tomball, Tx. Located at Elm St & Houston St. 104 Houston St. My journey in holistic medicine brought me to The Healing Gardens Health Center to work with Jacqueline Fields, M.D in 2003. I began working with her and through her mentoring along with my own education, I experienced many different modalities of alternative medicine and healing. As patients began their journeys towards health, I witnessed how the body was meant to heal. By finding your imbalances and supporting the body nutritionally, you can actually change your DNA and drastically change your health. Healing is more than over coming disease. Dis-ease is the physical manifestation of dis-ease of the body, mind and spirit. I learned these tools that are beneficial to healing and I began to offer what I have learned to others. Whether the focus is on physical health through nutrition, detoxification, listening to those physical signs and what your body is telling you, or discovering other ways to listen to your body, mind and spirit. When making life changes I can offer you support and guidance. Medicine and healing must seek beyond healing the symptoms. Teaching prevention and how to support the body allows for true resolution of dis-ease. Specialties: Yoga, Pilates, Reiki, Muscle Testing, Whole Body Detoxification, Coaching and Creativity & Women’s groups and retreats.
