I saw everyone posting the 2016 trend and didn’t think much of it until I looked back and realized that year was my peak travel girl era.

It hit extra hard because lately I’ve been navigating the natural slowing down that comes with pregnancy, and if I’m honest, it’s been harder than I expected.

But this little trend surprised me by reminding me of something important: I’m still the same girl, just in a different era.

While there are still a few places on my list I know going to them will feel even sweeter with baby boy in tow 🩵

A customer sent me this photo from her vacation bathroom.
She packed a bar of Melrose Soap from home and called it
“a little piece of home.”

That might be the most meaningful compliment I could ever receive 🧡

It’s the perfect example that it’s never just soap. It’s routine, comfort, and care even when you’re far away.

(Also… our Tropical Paradise Bar made it to an actual tropical paradise which feels pretty perfect 🏝️)

NJ winter has absolutely wrecked my skin lately.

Cold air, forced heat, and those soooo good hot showers that take the chill out of your bones?

It’s the perfect storm for drying out your skin.

These are my before + after pics from moisturizing my arm this morning after a hot shower.

Before, my skin felt tight, itchy, and just plain uncomfortable.

I am SO excited and happy to announce Melrose Soap has now teamed up with Spire Coffeehouse to bring our products to their customers!

Spire Coffeehouse won an award for 2025 BEST Local Coffee Shop in Ocean County NJ and besides having two physical locations- you may have also seen them at the Toms River Farmers Market or at Downtown Nights Out!

It is a pleasure and honor to have our soaps, lotions and butters on their shelves, right in the mix of your favorite Spire merch and candles!
