Our mom, Danielle Vergona Parker, is in need of a kidney donor! In 2020 her kidney function started to decrease quickly, and by December of 2020 she started dialysis. Dialysis is a machine that does the job of her kidneys. Although it’s not ideal, we are thankful for dialysis to give our mom a chance at life with no kidney function. However, the goal for our mom is to find a living kidney donor.
Receiving a kidney would give her a better, and more enjoyable life. Although being in kidney failure can be hard at times with numerous doctors appointments weekly, and daily dialysis treatments, our mom isn’t giving up. She is so strong and, positive. She doesn’t let kidney failure get in her way. Our family has confidence, and hope that she will find a kidney donor.
We (her children) did not pass the initial testing to donate to our mom. Interested doners can fill out the form at https://sbmclivingdonor.org/ . Please don’t forget to include our moms name (Danielle Vergona Parker). Your medical information and identity are HIPAA protected, this form is only to start the initial education on being a donor. You are never obligated to continue.
Always remember a life with one kidney is the same as a life with two!
Please help our family by sharing this post and spreading the word to your friends and family!
