Our BAYADA Home Health Care Ireland team showed up for their community by participating in the 2025 Citywest Wellness Walk in Dublin. They had a great time cheering each other on and connecting with members of the community.

The walk helped raise money for LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice to support children with palliative care needs, complex care needs, and complex disabilities.

For BAYADA Physical Therapist Mark Wussler, the work has always been deeply personal. With compassion equal to his clinical expertise, Mark empowers clients to heal not only physically but also emotionally—helping them rediscover joy, purpose, and identity in their daily lives.

When his client, Boonta, was diagnosed with a brain tumor, everything changed. Following surgery, she faced challenges with balance, coordination, and confidence. Mark built a personalized plan around her dream of returning to the tennis court—coaching her through strength, balance, and speed training, while tying each milestone back to her goal of playing again.

We are grateful for PTs like Mark, whose dedication shines through in the progress their clients achieve through compassionate, life-changing care. ❤️

Who has heard the Myth that "Hospice means that the patient will soon die"?

The truth is that receiving hospice care does not mean giving up hope or that death is imminent. The earlier an individual receives hospice care, the more opportunity there is to stabilize your medical condition and address other needs.

BAYADA Hospice Ocean County has a focus on quality care, same-day admissions, advanced veteran support, and reaching underserved communities within the footprint that we serve. We serve Ocean and Southern Monmouth county.
