I am a Nationally Board-Certified Health Coach and a compassionate leader with education and experience in health, nutrition, and wellness coaching. I am member of the American Society for Nutrition and American Nutrition Association. I have had much success with coaching clients with their lifestyle changes. As a client centered coach, I have helped clients achieve a better quality of life. I coach and mentor clients on all aspects of health and wellness, performing client needs assessment to identify areas of growth and education. As a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach I work with individuals and shift them from being passive recipients of expensive health care interventions to adopting a responsible, self-directed, proactive stance that facilitates lasting positive change and outcome. Patients have better outcomes when they are active participants in improving their health and wellness. I help develop client-specific plans for maximizing nutrition and health in alignment with their established needs, offering evidence-based health education to promote behavior change and confidence. I align myself to my clients so that I can assist them with reaching their desired goals. As an advocate for health and wellness I believe that we should all live an energized, passionate and healthy life. As a Health Coach I support the process and changes that best suit my client's needs. I have worked with many clients challenged with food allergies, heart conditions, diabetes, fertility and hormonal issues, autism and those that want to make healthy lifestyle changes. I have had success helping clients live a better quality of life by helping them discover lifestyle changes with food, supplements and healthy alternatives. I am certified in Plant Based Nutrition by Cornell University and am an advocate for plant-based eating. I am a passionate cook and have attended an organic cooking course in Florence, Italy, not only was it educational it was an amazing experience. I teach my clients how to grocery shop, read labels and prepare food. I specialize in gluten free and sugar free baking. Regrets…
When you look back on your life, what will you remember?

Will you remember the times you stumbled… but found the courage to stand back up?

Or will you fixate on the chances you didn’t take, the dreams you talked yourself out of, the moments you let pass because fear felt louder than faith?

I truly believe we rarely regret the things we tried even when they didn’t work out. We grow from those. They shape us. They strengthen us.
It’s the things we never did that echo the loudest.

As Wayne Dyer said:
ā€œYou’ll seldom experience regret for anything that you’ve done. It is what you haven’t done that will torment you. The message, therefore, is clear. Do it! Develop an appreciation for the present moment. Seize every second of your life and savor it.ā€

So make the call.
Start the business.
Say ā€œI love you.ā€
Apply for the opportunity.
Take the trip.
Forgive.
Try again.

Fail if you must, BUT don’t sit in the REGRET of NEVER knowing.

But let’s talk dark vs. milk… which one really loves you back?

Chocolate’s health perks mostly come from flavanols powerful antioxidants found in cocoa. The more chocolate is processed to make it sweeter and smoother, the more those beneficial compounds fade away.

Dark chocolate contains far more cocoa (often 70% or higher), which means more flavanols, more minerals, and more benefits.

Here’s what they are:

✨ Supports heart health by helping improve blood flow
✨ May help lower blood pressure
✨ Fights oxidative stress and inflammation
✨ Supports brain function, focus, and memory
✨ Provides important minerals like magnesium, zinc, and iron

Food for thought and it’s bittersweet.

Obesity, Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, inflammation, weight gain, and fatty liver disease are the effects of added sugar intake.
The American Heart Association suggests that women consume no more than 100 calories (about 6 teaspoons or 24 grams) and men no more than 150 calories (about 9 teaspoons or 36 grams) of added sugar per day. That is close to the amount in a 12-ounce can of soda.
Look at the amount of sugar in these grandĆ© Starbucks drinks… 😳
