Our Summer Crew has been making a big impact across the community!
At Frog Pond Elementary School, the crew painted hallways and received high praise from both the principal and Director of Maintenance—who called them the best summer workers they’ve ever had, even saying they outperformed their own staff!
They also assisted the school’s IT Department by repairing broken Chromebooks, cleaning equipment, and updating the district’s master inventory list—gaining valuable hands-on experience they can add to their resumes.
Later in the week, the Summer Crew helped maintain the gardens at Field of Dreams in Toms River, taking on trash pickup, weeding, and watering. They also assembled supply bags for Direct Services during a visit to Macedonia.
All five students are recent Pinelands graduates heading to college this fall. Through their hard work and the skills gained in the JAG program, they’re putting their training into action—and giving back in a meaningful way.
