March features a variety of monthly observances. A few of those are Brain Injury Awareness Month, Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, and Women's History Month.

National Brain Injury Awareness Month is led by the Brain Injury Association of America to educate the public, reduce stigma, and highlight the challenges faced by over 5.3 million Americans living with permanent brain injuries. This year's campaign theme is "My Brain Injury Journey," a way for people to share stories and promote the prevention of traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month focuses on promoting inclusion, reducing stigma, and celebrating the contributions of people with disabilities. This year's campaign theme is "We're Here: Then, Now, Always."
Women's History Month is an annual observance that highlights the contributions of women in history and contemporary society. What began as a local week in California in 1978 became official in March 1987 after Congress passed a law. Its roots date back to 1857 and to 1909, when the first US Women's Day was held.
