Out of an abundance of caution, police were called to the hospital regarding a potential threat. After conducting a thorough investigation, they have deemed the hospital safe. Visitors and staff can resume entering and exiting the facility.

Connie A. joined the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital family in 1995 and has stayed for 30 years! Here, she talks about her career journey with Mark E. Manigan, RWJBarnabas Health President and CEO. Connie started out as a per diem team member in Patient Information, and during her time with us she's taken on roles of increasing responsibility, from lead receptionist to supervisor to manager, Guest Services. We were so excited to welcome New Jersey Devils Alum and Stanley Cup Champion Jim Dowd to Community Medical Center today!

Jim met patients, visitors and staff as he toured the hospital, singing autographs and taking photos. His visit was part of a Community Medical Center, RWJBarnabas Health, and NJ Devils holiday tradition, bringing current and former players to RWJBarnabas Health hospitals throughout New Jersey for special visits.

RWJBarnabas Health is proud to be the official health care partner of the NJ Devils.
