Yesterday our residents held their own farmers market! We had a blast picking, cleaning, and easting the yummy fruit and veggies! No better way to welcome in the fall season then with a farmers market.

To celebrate our residents made fresh pico de gallo. We enjoyed it with some tasty tortilla chips. We even did an art project making paper flowers inspired by Frieda, the Mexican artist!

Last week in remembrance of 9/11 we created a bulletin board where residents and staff could color in poppy flowers and leave names of people or organizations that helped that day and the days after. We then spent that afternoon doing a sing along to all patriotic songs to help bring us all together in remembrance of that tragic day.

Today, and everyday, we remember and honor those we lost on 9/11 and our nations hero's who answered the call. We will how the tragedy's of this day changed our nation. May we continue to stand together in reflection, mourning. and resilience.

Grandparents Day flower market!
To celebrate we invited all the grandma's and grandpa's to explore and pick out their own flowers to make their own centerpieces. Aren't these bouquets beautiful? We cant wait to see these brighten up our "home" in the days to come! 💐 😊
