The Ocean County Department of Juvenile Services’ Youth Center offers a safe space for at-risk youth in Ocean County to develop into more secure and productive individuals. Sponsored by the Ocean County Board of Commissioners, the Youth Center provides free activities such as life skills, substance abuse education, vocational education, cooking classes, mentoring and tutoring and more.

We are diligently working towards achieving our objective for the grand opening, which is presently anticipated to take place sometime in July 2025. Although a definitive date has yet to be determined, we are increasingly excited about our progress and the prospect of potentially providing assistance to Ocean County veterans at this facility, referred to as Larry's Home.

Family Promise of the Jersey Shore is urgently seeking people to foster pets belonging to families in their shelter program as part of our Pets with a Promise initiative.

For a family facing homelessness, a pet can be an overwhelming burden. As temporary housing doesn't typically permit animals, this program ensures that families won’t undergo additional suffering due to the loss of their beloved pets.

Please help keep pets as part of the family by becoming a foster home today. All expenses are covered by Family Promise of the Jersey Shore.
