This morning U.S. Congressman Timothy Kennedy came and gave a press conference about the implications of the Big Beautiful Bill on our healthcare industry due to billions in Federal Medicaid cuts. Others who were in attendance included State Senator Sean Ryan, Deputy County Executive Lisa Chimera, State Assemblyman Jonathan Rivera, and Erie County Legislator Taisha St. Jean T**d. Each provided a speech about the implications of this bill and urged the Federal Government to "Cancel the Cuts!"

Some of our staff at Schofield Care also gave a speech including our President/CEO Christopher Koenig, as well as Cathy Lord, Schofield Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), and the daughter of one of our residents.

Representatives from the 1199 SEIU and CWA were also present.
