Embrace wellness through therapeutic massage, mindset alignment, leisure & various healing modalities "Massage Therapy isn't just a career for me that I have discovered. It's a way of life. I have seen the way it soothes people in distress and in pain. I know firsthand the way distress of all types effect my own body and mind due to conflicts in my own life. Being able to help heal others who have burdens of life on their shoulders and mind is a blessing. I can empathize with their trials and I can help them through the power of massage. Massage provides people the ability to simply breathe and feel at peace. I am driven to bring that peace to every client and release the stresses holding them down." - Caitlin

Cancellation Policy
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. We look forward to serving you!

LONG STORY ALERT:

Through the last 11+ years of business, I've seen and experienced some unique things. The latest experience is like one you'd only see in movies or hear of happening to other people. I'm still processing it. (Which is why I've only just shared this.)

I bought the building through an older, non-local couple in covid times. I invested over 100k of my money into renovations to bring a historic property back to life. I rebuilt structural walls that had been previously ripped out by others, replaced joists, subflooring, flooring, completely redid hall bath with new everything, built rooms and added two full luxury style baths, all new plumbing, electrical and much more. Oh it felt good to bring life back to it.

I hit a pause with renovations while I gathered my mental sanity back. Those renos had constant roadblocks I worked through, on top of multiple deaths and other loss, and navigating masters program full time. (And as self employed single person, I worked full time as well.)

I started my next phase, picked out paint for the building's exterior, and prepared my schedule for spring and summer renos ahead.

Then the major curveball of curveballs.

I got a letter from an attorney sharing news I never would have expected. The people I bought the building through had it tied up in an embezzlement scheme. It had been in the courts for almost as long as I had it financed through them, and I'm wasn't clued in until years later.

I navigated that through legal channels and pursued refinancing. And a UHAUL drives into the building, causing extensive damages throughout the entire building. All of the investment I made to the building... damaged and destroyed by that incident. The building shook with such force, the person inside shook with the impact & cracks and other damaged appeared everywhere. My brand new reno zone... damaged and in need of replacement just 3-4 years after my renovation.

To this day, despite TONS of videos, photos, witness testimony and other proof, I have yet fo be compensated by any insurances for the total loss i had to my property. With insurance delay in responses and failure to provide honest replacement of all damages and loss from the UHAUL incident, I was forced to sell my property at a huge loss.

The sale finalized exactly one month ago. I pray only the best experience and outcome for the buyer: someone with great vision and abilities to restore the property greater than any of us before. I'm so hopeful for the outcome.

That long story said... I'm now strictly mobile. As this was never my plan, I'm naturally having quite the time navigating the major change. It's not what I wanted, but through everything in life and my business, I trust GOD'S PLAN over my own. This major changing of seasons is quite an unexpected shift that I simply am needing time to adjust to.

I am still processing everything that has happened, as I haven't had the time to sit with it until now. Every day was filled with emails, phone calls, and so much more, on top of working as much as I could. I'm still needing processing time that I went through all of that. I'm still being hit with trials & sufferings, including the loss of a dear friend just this last week. God is what carries me through.

I ask for everyone's grace and continued support as I navigate. I love my clients, community, and serving others, as always. I'm grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey and I look forward to what is in store the season ahead.

The last several months have been absolutely exhausting and stressful. The significant and detrimental loss and impact against me, my business, my property, has taken its toll.

The season ahead will be different still. As the enemy attacks me from any angle, my faith in God grows deeper and my trust in Him more strong.

As business has dropped approximately 50% since the Uhaul incident, I'm modifying to cut unnecessary costs & help maintain my business.

When the extra space heater in a small room can't even warm up past 43°F 🥶😩

And we haven't even hit the coldest day/night yet.

I'm grateful for the good Lord because He ALWAYS provides & sees me through the hardest of battles, fiercest storms, and heaviest trials. 🙏

God gives us more than we can handle.

It gives us the opportunity to lean into Him and use His gifts to support us through it. No one has to go through hardships and trials alone.

I've been through "more than my fair share" of difficulties and challenges.

In the last 3 years, I have experienced so much loss, trials, and various types of stressors. I'm autistic and a highly sensitive person so my experiences also are interpreted through that lense. Many of these events happened simultaneously or back-to-back

My grandmother died during the covid chaos. Anyone who experienced loss during that time knows the complexity and difficulties of it, beyond the loss itself.

I had 4 of my dogs die suddenly and unexpectedly -- one being stomped to death in front of me, one from a suspected brain tumor, one was ran over by a UTV, and one by a fatal gunshot wound.

My farm dogs unexpected litter of pups took me by surprise, and also I lost one of those pups as well. Another pup from the litter had a minor surgery and has lifelong damage from rough-play that resulted in a severely dislocated elbow.

This building I purchased had major issues present, back-to-back, and I had to constantly readjust my plans to ensure the building was safe and able to operate as needed. Like rebuilding load bearing walls and floor joists. Like replacing and installing new HVAC systems (yes multiple). Like replacing ALL the plumbing (including water main) that had exploded.

All while I was finishing my masters degree. And while my own health complications and autoimmune conditions flared up. Mine impact the function of my heart, lung, joints, etc.

And this is just SOME of what I've endured in the last 3, going on 4, years.

God saw me through. He sees me through. I've not only witnessed the miracles and HIS goodness in my life, but also in the lives of my clients, my friends, family.

His goodness, his grace, his mercy -- His PEACE keeps me moving forward and stable. It's because of God that I have the faith to know that He will see me through these latest trials. 🙏 He always does!

It's because of God that I'm able to continue supporting others through their own trials. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! 🙏

The giant hole in the side of my building adds an extremely breezy open concept (which I could step and fall through) that I don't want, especially with more snow & dangerous negative temperatures, this is yet another safety and liability concern.

Say some prayers that someone can safely remove the collapsing, damaged pillars to try and salvage what we can, and remove the collapsing damaged portico soon. I will ensure this is removed, even if temporarily, to be able to close over the gaping hole in the side of my building to protect what is necessary to protect. All of this siding is needing to be replaced for any safe secure attachment regardless.

Whether & when the portico itself can be replaced or otherwise restored is to be determined, and I'll be continuously in contact with the proper personnel to ensure complete safety and the proper handling of this mess is done.

Fortunately, I have an attorney on standby to ensure everything is done as safely and properly as possible. Investigation is still ongoing & I'm doing everything on my end to ensure that things are done right. 🙏

Until the front of the building is deemed safe by proper personnel, I'm requesting all clients to park along this picket fence side of the building & use this side staff door for entry. Do not park up front & do not walk around the damaged area or use the front porch.

Please remain in your vehicle until I either wave you to come inside or I message/call you to come inside this door here.

Thank you for understanding.

Donations Welcome! Please share: https://square.link/u/ZoTYRcR3

I have spent the last 4 years now pouring everything into this beautiful historic property that has seen far too much neglect over the years. Neglect & wear and tear that has been present on this property for more years than I've been in business, more years than I've lived in this beautiful town. Despite best efforts of previous owners, this property has had extensive structural and cosmetic work needing done to bring it fully back to life.

I have spent the last 4 years helping to save this property & the history that goes along with it -- despite several personal losses (like my grandmother), health complications of my own, my own medical disabilities, and the seemingly constant trials of ridiculous setbacks this property presents.

Shortly after I took this property on, in the covid times and high inflation prices for materials, the entire building's plumbing (including the water main) exploded in a hard freeze and needed replaced. All the electrical throughout needed replaced. Several Structural Load Bearing Walls had to be put back in, where someone before me had removed them. The second floor had to be supported properly, not with the 2x4 that were somehow keeping it up. The floor joists below were also non-supportive and needed replaced. It's by the grace of God that this building was even still standing & hadn't collapsed upon itself when I uncovered all these concerns.

These are just a few of the MANY things that I personally took on to help save the building from demise -- with MY own money, and my time & my energy. I fixed these major concerns for the building's integrity because safety is the priority, and without these immediate fixes, the building may not still be here. My contractors, general & plumbing, are who did so much work at saving the property & have been phenomenal at ensuring this property gets repairs done correctly that will last. My general contractor promptly found and fixed so many major concerns that were covered up previously. You can thank these fine people for investing into this property to make it last.

Because this building means so much to the community, and people have expressed the desire to see its improvement completed more timely, I have a donation set up to help with the Myers House Historic Preservation. Instead of everyone waiting on my personal income to cover all the costs of restoring the property SAFELY, you have the opportunity to be part of the solution & contribute to saving this property & the ongoing maintenance that it will require. Note: Because it has been added onto so many times & modified too much from the original property it cannot qualify as a national registered historic property. Those standards are extremely specific & this property doesn't meet that because of so many changes made to it prior to my taking it on.

While insurance & potential suits will address the damages caused by an individual who destroyed and significantly damaged the portico, siding, and other areas throughout the entire main building, this donation you can provide will support everything else not associated with that damage that those do not cover, such as the decades of wear & tear & the ongoing maintenance.

Ideally, I will have this property restored as best it can be (considering so much of the original had been removed or modified prior to my taking it over), and it will become a historic tourist destination with a museum and gift shop. My holistic wellness business in here is a temporary for what I have planned for this property & is allowing me to gain funds for restoration of this property.

Attached is a photo of the Myers House after multiple additions had been built onto it. (The original house is the second floor & what's directly below, not including the upstairs sun porch which was enclosed later on.) Additionally attached is *some* of the improvements made, with consideration that all the unseen necessary hard work & improvements are also applicable beyond the cosmetics.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me & my business over the years to help not only support me as an individual, but also this extensive project as I help to preserve a piece of history in Tonganoxie.
