My name is Kendra Mayer, and I am a Medical Assistant and Receptionist here at Northern Oklahoma Urgent Care. I was born and raised in Ponca City and have been married to my husband, Derek, for 23 years. Together we have three children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and I’m a very proud MooMaw to our granddaughter.

I have worked in the medical field for many years in areas ranging from Family Practice to OB/GYN, gaining experience in both the front and back office. My passion has always been taking care of people. I truly enjoy visiting with patients and listening to their stories—it’s one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

I have been with Northern Oklahoma Urgent Care for almost a year, and I feel so blessed to be part of such a wonderful team and community.

In my spare time, I run a Facebook boutique called What a Cowgirl Wants Boutique. I also enjoy country dancing, spending time with my family and friends, and helping my husband work cattle. I attend First Lutheran Church in Ponca City.

Kenzee Gambrell is a Physician Assistant at our clinic. She has a history of working in trauma and orthopedics and has been a PA for about 5 years. She is devoted to helping her patients in every way possible and meeting them where they are at with compassion and care. Kenzee has a passion for natural medicine but also knows the importance of medicine and does her best to care for her patients the best way she knows how. She enjoys spending time with those she loves, being outside, and attending church at Christian Life Church in Tonkawa. She looks forward to continuing to care for Tonkawa and the surrounding community!

Casey Hoemann serves as the Director of Clinical Operations for NOKUC and Pharmacy. She has been proudly employed by the Tonkawa Tribe for nearly seven years, most recently dedicating her work to advancing healthcare services within the community.
In October 2024, Casey was presented with the opportunity to develop and launch an urgent care clinic and pharmacy to serve the community and surrounding areas. Embracing the challenge, she led the initiative by building a strong team of skilled professionals, resulting in the successful opening of NOKUC and Pharmacy.
Less than a year after opening to the public, Casey undertook another significant milestone: achieving certification as a tribal facility. On January 1, 2026, that goal was successfully accomplished. Inspired by the positive impact the clinic and pharmacy have had on the community, she is now leading the expansion of services to include primary care alongside same day care.
Driven by a passion for service excellence and community-centered care, Casey views each challenge as an opportunity for growth and improvement. She remains committed to advancing healthcare access and looks forward to continued development in the future.
Outside of her professional role, Casey is a devoted wife, mother of three, mother-in-law to one, and proud Gigi to one. She enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, watching sunsets and embracing farm life.

Hi, my name is Deann, but my husband, colleagues and patients call me “D”.
Over the years I have worn many hats across many diverse populations and situations that have made me into the person that I am today.
I am a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional; I bring over a decade of nursing experience and a strong commitment to patient centered care. I have practiced as a BSN prepared Registered Nurse for 13 years across high acuity and perioperative settings, including the ICU, heart recovery, recovery room, and pre-operative and post-operative care. The past four years, I have served as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, primarily in urgent care, delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.
My professional journey has been diverse and rewarding, it supports my true passion for caring for people and helping them feel their best. Throughout my journey I’ve learned to be flexible, stay calm, think fast, and always lead with compassion.
I have been a provider with Northern Oklahoma Family Clinic for over a year, proudly helping bring a vision to life. Here at NOKFC we all focus on providing accessible, high-quality care. As for me, my job as a Family Nurse Practitioner isn’t just a job, it’s about serving others, building trust, and treating every patient like family. I truly enjoy learning, continuing to grow, and staying up to date so I can give my patients the best care possible.
Outside of practice, I value time with my husband, four children, and ten grandchildren. I enjoy camping, fishing and outdoor activities – especially those involving warmth, sun, sand and water – which help me maintain balance and connection with family and my surroundings.
I believe in living life full throttle, one patient, one adventure and one grandkid hug at a time!
