Speed up bone healing—naturally.

Comfrey has been used for centuries in trauma medicine, and for good reason. A simple compress can support the healing process after a fracture.

✅ Use only the leaves and stems (not the root—too potent for safe use).
✅ Steep in just-boiled water for 15 minutes to make a strong tea.
✅ Soak a clean cloth in the infusion and apply to the site of injury.

Comfrey stimulates tissue regeneration, supports bone healing, and can help reduce inflammation. Use with care, and always consult with your practitioner before starting any herbal protocol.

Healing with plants is part of our human heritage.

This fits well into the Chinese medical paradigm of excess and deficiency as a diagnostic tool.

Thankfully, many healthcare practitioners are becoming aware of the foundational needs of the human body, and thereby addressing real root cause.

Artemisinin, an extract of wormwood - Qing hao - is used as part of the combination treatment for malaria, and is the worldwide standard. Vincristine, a chemotherapy, is from the Catharanthus roseus, the Madagascar periwinkle. Kheltin, a bronchodilator, comes from Ammi visaga, part of the carrot family. These plants provide widespread healing, hitting multiple targets in the human body.
