It's officially the first day of November, which means the Thanksgiving festivities are quickly approaching. It's a season of thankfulness, but for those of us who have lost a loved one, it can be difficult to feel grateful. It's at this time that we are surrounded by reminders that our loved one is no longer with us, and it can be harder to enjoy the holidays with their absence.
