🚗✨ Revved Up for a Great Day!

Today our residents enjoyed a Classic Car Show with over 24 stunning cars on display. The sun was shining, the engines were polished, and the competition was tough! Residents voted on Best Car, Judges Choice, Best of Show, Best Paint, and Most Unique—congratulations to all of our winners! 🎉

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who brought their cars and shared their passion with us.

We also held a Bake Sale, with all proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Thank you to everyone who purchased and supported such an important cause. 💜

🌟 Historic Bus Tour in Topeka! 🌟

Every seat on the bus was filled as our residents enjoyed a special historic tour of Topeka, led by Bob Totten, Executive Director of the National Historic Society.

Bob shared fascinating stories about many local landmarks, including the former site of Capper Junior High, Gage Park, Alf Landon’s house, the State Hospital, the Ritchie House, and more.

Our final stop was at House to Home, Bob and his wife’s store at Fairlawn Plaza. Residents were warmly welcomed with cake, served by his wife and staff, and had the chance to browse and shop.

It was a truly wonderful trip, filled with learning, laughter, and appreciation for the rich history of Topeka. Our residents loved discovering new things about the community they know and love. ❤️
