At Cedarhurst, we believe every day should bring our residents a sense of purpose, belonging, and joy. When they feel needed and loved, our whole community feels it too. The friendships created here are truly the heart of our home.

This week, Renessa & Corina invited our residents to help craft Thanksgiving centerpieces for our Family Thanksgiving on Thursday. Watching their creativity, pride, and smiles come to life was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸
Today we held a beautiful ceremony honoring all our Veterans here at Cedarhurst of Topeka.

A special thank you to VFW Post 1650 for leading the ceremony and presenting our residents with Certificates of Appreciation — this truly meant so much to them. Some of our Veterans also shared heartfelt stories that touched everyone in attendance. ❤️

We’re so grateful to all the staff and family members who helped serve refreshments and made this day extra special.

🎃Fall fun was in full swing at our Festival! From games and crafts to warm apple cider, hot chocolate, and caramel apples — there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our residents especially loved seeing all the little ghosts and goblins stop by to trick-or-treat. So many smiles and sweet memories made! 🍂✨

🍪👻 A Day Full of Sweet Moments! 👻🍪
Our Memory Care Residents baked delicious Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies and enjoyed them as a cozy afternoon treat. We even worked in a little time to fold laundry together before joining in a fun game of Ghost Toss to celebrate the start of Spooky Season! 🎃
It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, purpose, and joy. 💕
