Working out of our Home Office in Topeka, KS, our accounting services representatives manage the accounts receivable and payable responsibilities for a selected number of our locations. This includes processing customer contracts and statements, making deposits, maintaining inventory records, completing sales tax reports, paying invoices and providing courteous support to colleagues when questions arise.

Earlier this month we gathered our funeral home leaders at the always-gracious JAWACDAH Farm in Batesville, Indiana for a time of learning, sharing and connecting. Informative sessions about cultivating ownership, embracing innovation, and strengthening teams were presented, and activities such as panel discussions, peer-to-peer presentations and coaching practice exercises helped participants practice new skills and build cohesion as a leadership team. Additionally, a number of awards were handed out in recognition of associates' tenure milestones. Attendees shared that one of the most rewarding parts of the week was the opportunity to connect with their colleagues from across the country and enhance their network of support for future challenges and opportunities.
