The Legacy on 10th Ave. is currently hiring for a Certified Nurse Aide. The Legacy on 10th Ave. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps residents with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and caring for the resident's environment, including laundry and housekeeping. He or she must be sensitive to the needs and desires of each resident and make an attempt to improve and enrich their lives.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, current certification as a Nursing Assistant in this state, certification in CPR/AED/First Aid, and at least one year of experience, preferably in a long term care setting or assisted living community. Candidates must have a genuine desire to help others and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Legacy on 10th Avenue is a 60 bed skilled nursing community who is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team! The Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse is responsible for the well-being and nursing care of all residents assigned to him or her during his or her shift. He or she provides nursing services following the patient’s treatment plan or physician’s directions, assesses patients and responds to and reports any changes in condition, distributes and charts medications, and responds to emergencies.
· Current unencumbered Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse License (LPN),Registered Nurse (RN) or NCL
· At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing community is preferred but not required.
· Current BLS CPR certification or higher required, or willing to obtain within the first 30 days.
· Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.

· Certified as Registered Medication Aide in this state
· At least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferred
· Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications a plus
