Be a Good Neighbor Day Reminder!

We’ve loved seeing all the creative ways neighbors are reaching out.

If time is running short, you can still make the initial reach out! You can drop off a note, share an invite, or put together a small bag for your neighbors. Every effort counts in building stronger, more connected communities.

Let’s keep showing up for one another and making it easier for everyone to feel included and supported.

Be a Good Neighbor Day Reminder!

One of the most important parts of what we do through Block Talks is making engagement as accessible as possible. We know that sometimes barriers, such as food, supplies, or even just knowing how to get started, can get in the way of neighbors coming together. That’s where we step in.

If you need assistance in planning a gathering or want to host but aren’t a sure how, please reach out to us. We are here to help overcome those barriers so every neighbor has the chance to connect, share, and build community.

Dillons is one of our amazing supporters, their donations make it possible for us to provide food and snacks at Block Talks, and even help with supplies when needed. For example, one neighbor received support from us to create their invitations and a Dillon’s gift card to purchase snacks for their gathering.

You do not have to do it alone, we are here to help make being a good neighbor possible for everyone.

Every story shared through the HUMAN project helps us move one step closer to understanding, compassion, and meaningful change.

If you’ve been affected by substance use, whether personally, through a loved one, or in your work, and you believe your story could help someone else feel seen, we’d love to hear from you.

You don’t need to be in recovery. You don’t need to share your name. You just need to speak honestly and from the heart.
