Behind the scenes at our Wheelchair Clinic is a quiet lifeline: our donated equipment space.

When a wheelchair or a piece of mobility equipment is donated to CPRF, our technicians clean and sanitize usable components and salvage functional parts to give to clients who need help right now.

We use this equipment to:
✅ build and maintain loaner chairs for clients whose wheelchairs are being repaired, awaiting parts, or pending insurance
✅ replace critical components that insurance won’t cover

Why it matters: We do this to keep client costs low, reduce gaps in care, and help Kansans stay safe, mobile, and supported.

Today marks the first day of the 2026 Kansas Legislative Session.

InterHab will be closely monitoring legislative activity impacting Kansans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the providers who support them.
