We rang in the New Year in style with a celebration to remember! Our campus was filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of fun as we enjoyed great food, lots of dancing, and another fantastic live performance by the Topeka Big Band 🎵💃 To top it all off, we counted down the evening with an exciting balloon drop that had everyone cheering!

✨ A Little More Holiday Magic in our Health Center! ✨

We're still smiling from the joy that filled our Health Center during a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus! 🎅🤶 Santa checked his naughty & nice list (no worries... everyone made the nice list! 😉), shared plenty of laughs, hugs, and holiday cheer - we even spotted the Grinch sneaking around, adding an extra dash of mischief and fun to the day! Experiences like these fill our day with joy and make the holiday season feel extra meaningful!

We would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to The Family Life of Nazarene Church for making a special stop on our campus to sing beautiful Christmas carols. 🎀Your voices, kindness, and festive spirit brought so much comfort and joy to us all and meant more than you know! ❤️

The holiday cheer has been in full swing around our campus, and we've been soaking up every joyful moment!🎁🎉 From celebrating Spirit Week, with lots laughter, creativity, and festive flair, to hosting a Holiday Bingo Bash, where residents, families, and friends won plenty of prizes, and shared lots of smiles - the fun hasn't stop there!

One of our favorite surprises was a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, who stopped by our Health Center to spread extra cheer and holiday magic! 🎅🤶❤️

A huge thank you to the wonderful students from Williams Magnet Elementary School for stopping by our campus and filling the halls with joyful Christmas carols. 🎄Their bright smiles and festive voices brought so much cheer to our residents! ❤

Each year, the McCrite family warmly invites every resident to our cherished Christmas Candlelight Dinner - and last night was truly magical 🎄

We loved seeing our residents dressed in their finest attire, glowing with holiday spirit as they gathered for a four-course candlelit meal. The evening was made even more special by a beautiful piano performance from the talented Ed Farris, filling the room with timeless Christmas melodies.

Moments like these remind us of the joy, community, and tradition that make this season so meaningful. 🎀💚✨

Laughter filled the air as everyone enjoyed festive holiday cookies, rich hot chocolate, decadent cheesecake bites, and a delightful variety of seasonal treats. 🎀

As the countdown began and the switch was flipped, McCrite Plaza sparkled to life, transforming into a warm and charming display of holiday lights. ✨

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸

McCrite Plaza proudly held our Annual Veterans Day Breakfast, inviting all of our veterans and their spouses to enjoy a specially prepared meal in their honor. We were deeply moved by the students from Highland Park High School's ROTC, who performed a beautiful Color Guard ceremony to pay tribute to our veterans and their service.

Later in the day, veterans from our Health Center enjoyed a special lunch, followed by a memorable trip to Forbes Field for a guided tour of the National Guard Museum.

It was a day filled with gratitude, reflection, and pride. To all who have served- we thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication. We hope you felt truly celebrated this Veterans Day. ❤️🤍💙
