I do not attend home births, accept Medicaid, or file insurance claims. Earthen Vessels offers nurse-midwifery services in northeastern Indiana, including full prenatal care, labor and birth services, water birth if desired, postpartum services, well newborn care for the first month, and well-woman care with privileges to attend births at New Eden Care Center in Topeka, IN near Shipshewana. Per state regulations, VBAC clients, twins, and breech presentations cannot birth at a birth center. We do not attend home births, accept Medicaid, or file insurance claims. The birth center does not accept Medicaid or insurance. A deposit is required at the first appt with monthly payments to be paid in full by 36 weeks, no extended payment plans are offered. Payments are to be cash or check, no credit or debit cards. The birth center fee is paid separately to the birth center when you leave, no payments plan is available. As pictures and information are published only with the written permission of the parents, not all babies or families will be featured on this page and not all details may be given if the parents choose to release limited information. Respect for our families' privacy is first and foremost!
