Advocating for Older Kansans
We’re proud to share that Shannon Heim, Director of Senior Services, represented Community HealthCare System at the Kansas State Capitol during Aging Services Day. This important day brings long-term care providers together to advocate for the dignity, well-being, and needs of older Kansans across our state.

During the event, Senator Kenny Titus recognized the vital role of aging services providers on the Senate floor—and Shannon was one of just five constituents invited to stand in recognition of this impactful work.

Advocacy matters. Showing up, raising our voices, and partnering with state leaders helps ensure seniors receive the care, respect, and support they deserve—today and in the future.
