Hope And Healing Academy

Hope And Healing Academy HAHA is an equine-based psychotherapy program improving the mental health of kids & adults Hope and Healing Academy, Inc. (HAHA) was founded in October 2014.

Using Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP), licensed psychotherapists work alongside riding instructors and trained horse handlers to bring hope and healing to clients of all ages and backgrounds. Situated on 30 acres southwest of Topeka, Kansas, the facilities feature indoor and outdoor riding arenas, beginner and advanced sensory trails, a nine-stall barn, tack room, and twelve wonderful therapy horses.

We've recovered from our first ever family Fall Fest, which we're happy to report was a great success! Huge thanks to our 85 attendees--thanks to you, we now have $1685 to support the health and happiness of our equine partners. We'll use these funds for food, veterinary care, and other enrichment activities.

A huge thanks also goes out to the band, the donors, volunteers, and businesses that helped us put this fundraiser together.

We're one week away from our first-ever family Fall Festival! Bring a lawn chair, grab the kids and a friend, and join us Saturday, October 4, from 3:30 to 8:00 for food, fun, and live music--featuring Ginger Cat and the Dirt Road Dogs!

Enjoy homemade pulled pork and mac n' cheese while listening to the band (including our very own Clinical Director Chris Moran on guitar) play contemporary and classic country & rock favorites from 5:30 to 7:30.
