Looking for something to do with the family today? Head out to the Combat Air Museum and check out this event.

Thanks to a grant from the Kansas Commission on Aerospace Education, we'll have free admission on Saturday for Girls in Aviation Day. You'll meet representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration, National Weather Service, Civil Air Patrol, K-State Salina, Team Bessie air race participants and Topeka's own Aviation Explorer Post 8! See aircraft from the Kansas Army National Guard, Kansas Highway Patrol and an interesting variety of civilian aircraft. Dr. Robin Hanson will portray Amelia Earhart and will speak to the girls in our classroom at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Our bank is still counting your donations to get a final amount given by the Topeka community. While we wait, I want to recognize a couple of businesses that supported our return to after a 5 year hiatus!

First, I would like to give a huge shout out to
Topeka ER & Hospital for their donation! They were the only business who directly donated to the cause! Let us know if you'd like to join them!

Second, I want to give a shout out to Glory Days Pizza in Fleming Place for making 56 large pizzas over the weekend to help us feed the Firefighters who went out and collected donations!

If you own/run a local business and want to donate to or any other charity, let us know! We have a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation that can allow your donations to be tax deductible.

We support and donated to many charities across town and the state.

Haven't seen one of our fire trucks across town, so you can help us ...Did you know these fire trucks are still in service, and responding to emergency calls? So, we know its easy to miss them, but we have a option for you if you'd like to contribute!

Online and digital donation is a new thing for us and our campaign, but we're honored for those who have utilized the option that allows us to contribute as much as possible to Muscular Dystrophy Association
