Healing Smiles

Healing Smiles One of the oldest and most trusted dental practices in northeast Kansas. Complete professional denta Our slogan is comfortable, personal care.

"We can help you keep that healthy smile"- Stephen Chronister DDS
Dr Chronister has been caring for the dental needs of the downtown Topeka business community since 1985. Our practice also welcomes all family members, from ages two to one hundred and two. Our office is conveniently located near all the major downtown office buildings and businesses, so you don't have to drive across town for a dental appointment. Dr Chronister also always strives to run "on time" so you can wait in your office, not ours. Dr. Chronister's main emphasis and interest is prosthodontics (dentures, partials, crown, bridges, and implants), but offers full dental services to all members of the family. Those are not just words on a page. Our goal is to take care of your needs in the most gentle way possible, and give you our full attention while you are here. We don't have an "assembly-line" practice.

Earlier this month, the American Dental Association (ADA) issued a statement sharing concerns about dental insurance companies buying dental practices.  In the statement, t...

Eating for your skin might not be a silver bullet, but it can matter. According to HealthCentral, foods high in saturated fats, processed sugar, red meat, and dairy may fuel inflammation — and for those with Psoriasis, that could mean more frequent or intense flare-ups.

While no diet can cure your chronic skin disease, adding or avoiding certain items on the menu may help alleviate symptoms and ward off future flares.

ChatGPT said:Still tossing and turning? 💤 While topical magnesium lotions are trending, experts say the sleep-boosting effect might stem more from the massage than the mineral itself.

Social media influencers claim that using lotion with magnesium promotes sleep. But there's little evidence magnesium taken in this way is effective.
